About the role
The Mission Systems Category Management Team at Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support the team in driving the supply base to provide consistently high-quality parts on schedule to support our customers. This role is hybrid based out of Linthicum, MD, Rolling Meadows, IL or San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
- Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management to include dock dates, need dates, contract dates and program communications.
- Define and develop material strategy for on-time supplier delivery.
- Proactively assess delivery risks and collaborate with Programs.
- Lead supplier issue management, prioritization, expediting.
- Complete quarterly supplier assessments (SAMS), facilitate Supplier Business Reviews (SBR’s), manage Supplier Management Plans and Supplier Production Readiness Reviews.
- Analyze lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
- Review requirements for non-standard parts, analyze lead times, and identify critical path procurements.
- Analyze, aggregate, and prioritize supply/demand requirements.
- Develop relationships with suppliers’ personnel for quick response.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or closely related field OR Bachelor’s degree minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or closely related field.
- US Citizenship (Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance).
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Associate's degree with minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or closely related field OR Bachelor’s degree minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or closely related field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with team collaboration, experience in resolving problems with peers and customers, experience in supplier manufacturing, proficient in Microsoft applications, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing knowledge.

$72,400.00 - $108,600.00
