Supply Chain Planning Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily execution of supply chain kitting operations to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for hourly team members while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage kitting order release, point-of-use availability, and material flow to support assembly operations.
- Utilize data, reporting, and analytics to identify trends, eliminate waste, and improve operational performance.
- Partner with Requirements, Supply Chain Planning, Engineering, Quality, and other process partners to resolve material shortages, improve quality, and enhance execution.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, velocity, cost, and employee engagement.
- Support the implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of automation technologies including ASRS/VLMs, AGVs, AMRs, and digital material management systems.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including safety, kit accuracy, kit quality, material availability, inventory accuracy, productivity, and operational performance.
- Develop and sustain standard work, process documentation, and best practices to ensure consistent execution.
Required Skills
- Supply Chain Planning & Execution: Working knowledge of supply chain management within manufacturing, with the ability to analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and support planning decisions that improve material availability and operational performance.
- Supplier & Inventory Management: Experience supporting supplier coordination and managing inventory processes, including resolving discrepancies, tracking materials, and ensuring delivery timelines and quality requirements are met.
- Data Analysis & Decision Support: Ability to gather and synthesize data from multiple sources to support forecasting, logistics planning, and continuous improvement of planning accuracy.
- Planning, Organization & Attention to Detail: Strong ability to plan and prioritize work, maintain structured processes, and ensure a high level of accuracy in supply chain data and execution.
- Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective communication skills with the ability to partner with sales, manufacturing, and suppliers to align production forecasts, logistics needs, and planning processes.
Preferred Skills
- Forecasting & Planning Optimization: Experience improving production forecasting, logistics capacity planning, and material availability in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on driving planning accuracy and efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Experience identifying process gaps and implementing improvements that enhance supply chain performance, inventory strategies, and operational effectiveness.
- Advanced Data Utilization: Strong ability to leverage data across multiple stakeholders to support decision-making, root cause analysis, and operational enhancements in supply chain planning.
- Manufacturing Systems & Tools Exposure: Experience working with supply chain planning systems or tools (e.g., ERP, MRP, or logistics platforms) to support material planning and execution.
- Automated Warehouse: Knowledge of ASRS system, VLM systems, and/or AGV/AMR systems.
Summary
Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00
