Supply Chain Planning Leader
About the role
We are seeking a strategic IT leader with technical depth and breadth to drive the transformation of Texas Instruments’ Supply Chain Planning Capabilities. This role will be instrumental in driving TI’s customer satisfaction and capital expenditure through data-driven insights, demand sensing, multi-stage inventory optimization, Enterprise supply planning at various levels of granularity and development of Manufacturing Start Plans.
Responsibilities
- Drive transformation initiatives to modernize planning capabilities, leveraging new tools, advanced analytics, machine learning, AI, and automation
- Own the architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Planning platforms including operations
- Ensure strong data governance and master data integrity across planning and the rest of supply chain systems and processes
- Proficiency in interpreting vast data sets to uncover trends and drive data driven decisions that align operational reality with strategic goals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including supply chain planners, manufacturing operations, other IT teams, and senior executives to align supply chain decisions with company’s financial operating plan and strategic business goals
- Facilitate change management and user adoption through effective communication and training strategies
- Interact with Manufacturing counterparts to provide high quality factory start plans with scenario planning that help optimize factory efficiency while meeting the enterprise goals
- Lead leaders - Lead by example to support and develop next generation of sub-leaders, fostering a culture of strong values, accountability and integrity to drive results
- Define necessary skillsets for the planning teams and institute methods of skill transformation and training
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, or related field (master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience delivering Advanced Supply Chain Planning solutions (Demand Forecasting, Enterprise supply planning, Capacity Planning, Factory Start Plans, Order Scheduling and Inventory Optimization) end-to-end in the manufacturing industry is required
- Preferred Qualifications: A practical understanding of the manufacturing constraints, capacities, changeovers and ability to speak the language of the shop floor and board room. Mastering the science of safety stock, cycle stock, balancing service levels with inventory carrying costs and adopting industry best practices. Sound functional and business process knowledge in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) balancing demand, supply and financial plans. Decisive leader who proactively identifies issues and navigates ambiguity with an unconstrained mindset. Deep understanding of architectural concepts and the fundamentals of good software system design. Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to drive cross-functional initiatives. Exceptional problem-solving and deep analytical skills. Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex problem situations. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results. Ability to build strong, influential relationships. Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery. Proven experience influencing opinions and gaining consensus. Possess high energy, a helpful attitude, be self-motivated, and be able to consistently contribute towards a positive work and team environment.
