About the role
Piper Companies is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to support production planning and supply chain operations within a regulated manufacturing environment located in the Miami, FL area. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating production activities across multiple manufacturing sites and ensuring production plans are realistic, achievable, and aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage production planning activities for multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Build, maintain, and adjust production plans to support operational requirements and customer demand.
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Quality, Material Planning, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead and facilitate weekly operational reviews, S&OP meetings, consensus meetings, factory alignment meetings, and business review meetings.
- Analyze production constraints, planning issues, and manufacturing conflicts while identifying and implementing solutions.
- Address supply chain risks and issues when necessary to ensure continuity of supply.
- Serve as a key facilitator between departments to drive alignment and execution.
- Track manufacturing timelines, priorities, production status, and progress against plan.
- Ensure production schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with available capacity and materials.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supply planning, production planning, or supply chain planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of planning parameters, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and production planning concepts.
- Experience utilizing ERP and planning systems such as Kinaxis, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to work independently following initial training while effectively collaborating across departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven meeting facilitation experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, food & beverage, consumer packaged goods, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
Compensation
- Salary range: $75,000-80,000
