Supply Chain Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute forward and reverse supply plans that align demand, inventory, supplier capacity, and manufacturing readiness.
• Partner cross-functionally with sourcing, procurement, logistics, finance, planning, and NPI teams to support material availability, inventory strategy, and supply continuity.
• Analyze supply-demand scenarios, capacity constraints, and “what-if” impacts to inform planning decisions and mitigate risk.
• Support product transitions, ramps, last-time-buy decisions, and buffer strategies while minimizing stranded materials, excess inventory, and component liability.
• Cook up with suppliers to resolve constraints, track operational performance, and align on build requirements and supply plans.
• Respond to demand, build, and deployment changes by identifying issues, assessing impact, and driving corrective actions.
• Use planning tools, automation, and process improvements to improve supply-plan accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Support excess-management, rework, refurbishment, and redeployment activities to optimize inventory and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, Sales & Operations Planning, material requirement planning systems and tools or related experience OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, Sales & Operations Planning, material requirement planning systems and tools or related experience OR equivalent experience.
• Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
