Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring that Kleen Test Products meets customer demand efficiently and effectively. This position involves analyzing and implementing production, materials, and capacity requirements, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with suppliers to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and utilize Company Systems to perform daily Planning, Scheduling, Purchasing, and Capacity Planning activities
• Receive Customers' orders and forecasts and develop a realistic Production Plan to meet customer requirements
• Serve as the main customer contact for order fulfillment and production-related requests/issues, communicating directly with customers to resolve any supply issues or changes
• Communicate with customers to manage incoming flow of customer-owned materials in a manner consistent with KTP Procurement strategy
• Purchase Raw Materials from approved suppliers to support the Production Schedule, resolving issues with material delivery timing and adjusting the Production Schedule as needed
• Provide Planning Support for New Product Launches and Product Developments, managing component transitions with KTP Purchasing Team and Customers to minimize inventory obsolescence
• Develop inventory management strategies for raw materials, addressing challenges such as product life cycles, artwork changes, and chemical shelf lives
• Analyze Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory for Customer Programs and collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to obtain disposition where appropriate
• Support New Product Launches and Product Developments, managing component transitions with KTP Purchasing Team and Customers to minimize inventory obsolescence
• Collaborate with Customers to manage incoming flow of Customer-owned materials in a manner consistent with KTP Procurement strategy (Make-to-Order, Just in Time)
