Job ID: 3056838 | Charlotte, NC (4 days onsite / 1 day remote) | Duration: 3–6+ months contract-to-hire | Visa: USC/GC only

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accessories Planner to manage daily planning, allocation, and inventory strategy for a high-volume retail environment supporting approximately 750 stores and multiple distribution centers. This role oversees accessory planning across roughly 60 mobile devices, with 10–20 associated accessory SKUs per device, requiring close management of inventory targets, weeks of supply, product availability, tax considerations, and rapidly changing demand. The position demands independent management of multiple products and locations on a daily basis, proactive identification of potential issues, and clear articulation of planning decisions. Traditional long-range production planning experience alone is not considered directly transferable due to the shorter planning cycles and day-to-day complexities of this retail environment.

  • Proactively identify potential supply/demand issues and communicate planning decisions clearly
  • Independently manage multiple products and locations on a daily basis

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant retail, inventory, merchandise, or demand planning experience (2–3+ years minimum; 5 years ideal)
  • Strong understanding of product seasonality, new product introductions, end-of-life inventory, and rapid product cycles
  • Experience managing “finished goods” planning in apparel, consumer goods, or similar businesses
  • Ability to independently manage multiple products and locations daily
  • Proactive problem identification and clear communication of planning rationale

  • Corporate discount savings program and additional discounts
  • On-demand training program
  • Certification preparation, technical/leadership course library, books, and seminars (available after 6+ months tenure)
