Supply Chain Performance Leader
About the role
Schneider Electric seeks a Supply Chain Performance Leader to oversee and improve manufacturing processes in Red Oak, Texas. Key responsibilities include leading continuous improvement strategies, animating Kaizen events, deploying smart factory solutions, defining productivity plans, and managing plant value stream mapping.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement strategy across Front-end & Core processes, from tendering to delivery.
- Animate continuous improvement based on Schneider Performance within the plant.
- Lead deployment of smart factory solutions in the plant.
- Define and execute yearly productivity actions plans.
- Report Direct Labor Productivity to support functions using standard tools and processes.
- Ensure sustainability of Schneider Production System (SPS) level in the plant through transversal actions plans.
- Manage plant Value Stream Mapping (current & future state) and lead continuous improvement of Product Lead Time.
- Implement concepts of green/red, SPS principles, architecture lines, Short Interval Management, Material Providing & Handling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant field.
- Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing Tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Visual management, Kaizen etc.).
- 4+ years of experience with any type of Production Systems (e.g., Toyota Production systems).
- Extensive experience with Agile Methodologies/Project Management.
- Ability to set priorities and form action plans to implement & monitor for results.
- Experience with cost-saving projects for a manufacturing plant.
- Experience in industrial mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
- Ability to interact and lead others in a collaborative environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
