Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant warehouse setting.
- Use of forklift in the timely loading or unloading of finished product and raw materials to/from trucks/railcars, and from the production line.
- Interpret customer orders so as to pull, stage, load, and check materials in a manner that ensures accurate and timely shipment.
- Recording of shipping data and other results in the manner required.
- Troubleshoot and apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
- Take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
- Adapt to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Able to safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing setting.
- Able to inspect and troubleshoot the forklift to detect issues and maximize operational availability.
- Able to interpret verbal instructions and written documents such as customer orders.
- Able to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
- Able to accurately record shipping data.
- Possess basic maintenance skills needed to help service equipment.
- Able to effectively team and communicate with all co-workers.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

- Shift: Rotating 12’s (7a-7p – rotate weekly)

- Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
