Forklift Operator

About the role

This position is based in Milford, NJ, located directly across the Delaware River from Riegelsville, PA, in a picturesque countryside. The facility is within 20–30 minutes of Easton, PA; Phillipsburg, NJ; Quakertown, PA; Bethlehem, PA; and Doylestown, PA.

Pay

$25.25 per hour. This role is eligible for a Performance Pay program that could offer up to a 6% quarterly bonus based on skills and contribution to the plant performance.

Schedule

• Permanent shift: Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (may include overtime, holidays, and weekends).
• Orientation will be on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM); permanent shift assignment occurs approximately 30 days later.
• Milford operates on a point-based attendance program.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and finished product using a forklift.
• Complete inventory and department documentation both manually and with computer software systems.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and fueling of equipment.

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience operating a forklift safely in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day in a loud, noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or scan gun for documentation and/or record-keeping functions.
• Familiarity with shipping or logistics software (SAP, WMS, or similar).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
