Supply Chain Operations Systems Specialist

We are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Systems Specialist to join our mission-driven team. As an integral part of the Supply Chain department, you will join forces with the Category Manager (to whom you will also report) in our continued effort to inspire people to eat more plants! We are looking for candidates who are passionate about process excellence, data integrity, and solving operational challenges through systems and workflow improvements. This position will play an important role in supporting the systems and processes that power Purple Carrot's sourcing, menu planning, inventory, and fulfillment operations, ensuring data accuracy and reliable execution across the business.

• Own and maintain core supply chain systems and workflows, supporting recurring operational processes
• Support troubleshooting issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Support execution and visibility with reporting and dashboards (Fishbowl, Looker)
• Support the setup and maintenance of core item, vendor, pricing, ingredient, and packaging data in Fishbowl and related systems

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a systems operations, operations analyst, supply chain operations, or similar role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong experience with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (Fishbowl or similar) and operational databases
• Experience with SQL/MySQL
• Experience with Google Apps Script or similar automation tools
• Experience with Looker, LookML, or other BI/reporting tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Able to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally

Qualifications

• Able to commute to our fulfillment partner located in the Chicago Stockyards Industrial Park

Skills

• Experience with Galley or similar menu planning or recipe management systems
• Familiarity with supply chain, procurement, inventory, food operations, or menu planning processes, including the use of project management tools such as Asana
• Ability to balance hands-on execution with a continuous improvement mindset
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership with minimal oversight
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $63,000 - $70,000. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications, and the posted range is not a guarantee of any specific offer.
