About the role

Nefab is seeking a Packaging Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and optimizing packaging solutions for various industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize packaging solutions for products across different industries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions
• Conduct life cycle analysis and assess sustainability impacts of packaging options
• Test and validate packaging designs to ensure product integrity during transportation
• Stay updated on industry trends and packaging innovations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging design and optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with packaging software tools such as GreenCalc
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of industry-specific packaging requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Strong understanding of material properties and their impact on packaging performance
• Experience with sustainability metrics and reporting
• Ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 annually
