The mission of Neurogene is to treat devastating neurological diseases to improve the lives of patients and families impacted by these rare diseases. Neurogene is developing novel approaches and treatments to address the limitations of conventional gene therapy in central nervous system disorders. This includes selecting a delivery approach to maximize distribution to target tissues and designing products to maximize potency and purity for an optimized efficacy and safety profile. The Company’s novel and proprietary EXACT transgene regulation platform technology allows for the delivery of therapeutic levels while limiting transgene toxicity associated with conventional gene therapy.

About the role

  • Shipping, receiving, stocking, handling, and distributing materials at Neurogene.
  • Maintaining an uninterrupted supply of raw materials by ensuring the warehouse and other storage locations are kept in an organized and accurate state of control.
  • Supporting all departments with distributing materials (kitting if needed).
  • Ensuring proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements.
  • Following quality and safety SOPs and instructions.
  • May be asked to perform various activities such as keeping work areas and equipment clean, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of warehousing or related supply chain experience.
  • Experience in GMP environment a plus.

Essential Details

  • Manufacturing ONLY.
  • Day shift (in office).
  • Travel 0%.
  • Safety Knowledgeable and complies with all pertinent safety SOPs, policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Quality Responsible for complying with all GMP processes, SOPs, and instructions for all activities in which SC participates.

Scope

Performing supply chain tasks (shipping, receiving, stocking, handling, and distribution of materials) by following SOP’s and guidelines according to GMP requirements and departments need.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or relevant job experience required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of warehousing or related supply chain experience.
  • Experience in GMP environment a plus.
  • Working with a forklift a plus.
  • Licenses or Certifications: Forklift license a plus.
  • Knowledge, Skills, And Attributes: Able to perform procedures according to written guidelines. Good basic computer skills. Interact effectively with staff members from multiple levels and departments. Ability to lift 50lbs, assisted. Continuous strong focus on meeting or exceeding expectations in executing deliverables, performance, and results. Ability to track and measure performance against defined metrics. Self-starter with high degree of energy, independence, initiative, and self-motivation, as illustrated by the ability to instill a sense of pace and urgency in the team. Someone who moves fast and decisively in a balanced manner, with a passion for the growing company. Passionate, collaborative, creative, willing to take prudent risks, and motivated by the creation of a company focused on transformative treatments for patients and their families.

Work Environment

  • Majority of work is done in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Work may involve high energy hazards, such as high-pressure gases, flammable materials, cryogenic operations, and chemical hazards, such as strong acids and bases.
  • Some work may be required to be done on a manlift.
  • Gowning (e.g., lab coat, face mask, shoe covers, hair, and beard nets, etc.) may be required.
