Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team of approximately ten professionals across Procurement, Supplier Quality and Industrialization.

Foster a collaborative, accountable and high-performance culture.

Conduct regular QRQC reviews, performance evaluations and coaching sessions.

Define competency development plans and support career progression.

Balance workload and organizational priorities to ensure effective resource utilization.

Participate in recruitment, succession planning and talent development.

Supply Chain Integration & Supplier Readiness

Coordinate Procurement, Supplier Quality, Industrialization and Supplier Performance activities to ensure suppliers meet operational, industrial and business requirements.

Drive cross-functional execution plans to secure supplier readiness throughout product industrialization and serial production.

Anticipate supply risks and coordinate mitigation and recovery actions across all contributing functions.

Ensure priorities remain aligned between internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Facilitate effective communication, decision-making and issue resolution across the organization.

Supplier Performance Coordination

Working closely with Supplier Performance Managers, who retain functional ownership:

  • Coordinate the collective contribution of Procurement, Supplier Quality, Industrialization and Supplier Performance teams.
  • Ensure supplier action plans are consistent, prioritized and executed across all disciplines.
  • Support monitoring of supplier performance including delivery, quality, industrial maturity, capacity readiness and recovery progress.
  • Promote a common supplier roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Cookordinate executive escalations and ensure rapid alignment on recovery strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives jointly with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Industrialization & NPI Coordination

Ensure successful industrialization of new products and engineering changes.

  • Coordinate qualification activities including PPAP, First Article Inspection and production readiness.
  • Align Procurement, Engineering and Supplier Quality to achieve robust industrial launches.
  • Monitor industrial risks throughout product introduction and production ramp-up.

Supplier Escalation & Operational Leadership

Serve as the first level of management escalation for major supplier issues.

  • Lead cross-functional recovery teams for critical quality, industrialization, delivery or capacity issues.
  • Cookordinate structured problem-solving using methodologies such as 8D and QRQC.
  • Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and sustained.
  • Support team members in resolving complex supplier situations.

Center of Excellence Interface

Act as the primary Supply Chain representative for the Controls & Accessories Center of Excellence within North America.

  • Ensure effective coordination between US suppliers and global stakeholders.
  • Translate CoE priorities into coordinated execution across supplier-facing teams.
  • Ensure alignment with global strategies, standards and industrial objectives.

Performance Management

Establish and monitor team objectives and KPIs.

  • Drive operational reviews and performance dashboards.
  • Ensure clear visibility of supplier performance, risks and action plans.
  • Report progress and key issues to senior leadership.

Continuous Improvement

Promote Lean Supply Chain principles and operational excellence.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead digitalization and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strengthen problem-solving capabilities across the organization.

Travel

Maintain regular presence at supplier facilities throughout North America (approximately 30%) to support supplier development, industrial readiness and operational performance.

Desired Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
  • Significant leadership experience within an aerospace or advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary supply chain organizations involving Procurement, Supplier Quality, Industrialization and Supplier Performance.
  • Experience supporting both OE and Aftermarket environments is highly desirable.

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of supplier development and industrialization processes.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, First Article Inspection and production qualification.
  • Experience coordinating supplier performance improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, QRQC, 8D and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ability to manage supplier recovery plans and complex industrial escalations.

Additional Qualifications:

  • French language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% within North America.

This position leads Procurement, Supplier Quality and Industrialization teams while orchestrating the contribution of Supplier Performance Managers and other key stakeholders to deliver integrated supplier performance.

Rather than owning individual technical disciplines, the role ensures all supplier-facing functions operate as a single coordinated Supply Chain organization, driving industrial readiness, operational performance, supplier resilience and long-term business success.
