Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals and customer demand
  • Drive Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Manage supplier relationships, including selection, negotiation, performance evaluation, and risk mitigation
  • Identify and implement cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs):
    • On-time delivery
    • Inventory turns
    • Forecast accuracy
    • Supplier performance
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to support production schedules and new product introductions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to improve planning accuracy and reporting
  • Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8–12+ years of progressive supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, demand planning, inventory control, and logistics
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement, cost reduction, and supplier management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

Skills

  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Global supply chain experience, including import/export compliance
  • Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, electronics, or automotive
