Responsibilities

  • Develops supply chain strategies aligned with business unit product line strategies
  • Leads supply chain team members and cross-functional teams to execute strategy and deliver desired business outcomes in cash, cost, and service
  • Selects, trains, and mentors supply chain members to build high-performing teams
  • Manages supply chain portion of large projects and resolves complex supply chain issues to improve financial outcomes
  • Provides input to third-party service provider contracts, ensuring cost optimization and satisfactory service standards
  • Participates in WWCAR, Segment Teams, and Product Leadership Teams
  • Represents supply chain in new product introduction and commercialization processes
  • Designs, generates, maintains, and monitors monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensures full compliance with Corporate Standard Operating Procedures and SOX requirements
  • Creates and maintains a 24-month supply plan in OMP using optimization solvers to meet business objectives and publishes a 24-month forecast for inventory and capacity utilization
  • Proactively gathers business/supply scenario inputs from key stakeholders and conducts what-if analysis in OMP, sharing recommendations in supply review meetings and driving timely decisions
  • Understands end-to-end planning tool interactions, upstream/downstream connectivity, and other functions like demand planning, tactical planning, logistics, product management, etc.
  • Publishes SOP reference plans, tracks progress against plan, and communicates long-term planning priorities to optimize short-term production plans
  • Builds strong relationships with regional supply chain partners and teams to align regional and global strategies, drive optimal service performance, cost efficiency, and cash optimization globally
  • Leads team in monthly reporting for MBR and Supply Reviews, highlighting business state and risk areas
  • Pairs consignment inventory with customers and reports financial impacts quarterly

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain operations within a manufacturing/production environment
  • End-to-end Supply Chain knowledge and experience
  • Working experience with planning systems (OMP preferred, SAP)
  • Planning and supply planning optimization experience
  • APICS certification or willingness to achieve certification within 2 years of selection
  • Preferable experience with compounding and/or extrusion assets
  • Preferable Six Sigma training and excellent knowledge of advanced Supply Chain tools
  • Data acumen: understanding of supply planning related data elements, ability to analyze metrics
