Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all supply chain activities, including sourcing, procurement, planning, scheduling, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for critical components for manufactured products such as motors, magnetic bearings, and power electronics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to support new product development and manufacturing schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and quality issues.
  • Drive inventory optimization to balance cost, availability, and production needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations within a manufacturing or engineering-driven company.
  • Knowledge of aerospace, energy, or industrial manufacturing supply chains.
  • Experience with high-precision or electromechanical components preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Self-starter with strong bias for results and continuous process improvement.
  • Versatility - capable of strategic thinking while executing near-term goals and objectives.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Buyers, planners, and material control personnel.

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any U.S. employer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
  • Personal protective equipment required in some areas.
  • Position duties will primarily be indoors with occasional travel to suppliers.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.
