Responsibilities
- Explore quality assurance, safety, engineering, human resources, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand how each of these areas collaborate with supply chain
- Gain insight into material life cycles, developing and managing strategies to optimize inventory levels and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain process
- Complete training in warehouse, transportation, and customer service functions
- Complete assigned department improvement projects
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and pet care industries, including insight into the consumer and/or pet owner, expertise in Purina brands, our competition, and the ability to identify and analyze segment trends
- Experience internal and external supply chain operations, including factory logistics, warehousing and transportation, customer supply chain management, and order revenue management (ORM)
- Develop internal and external working relationships that provide exposure to various disciplines, account management, and customer teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027
- Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program
- You will start your rotation for this Supply Chain MDA at one of the following Nestlé Purina factories: Bloomfield, Missouri, or Davenport, Iowa
- Prior internship, co-op, practicum or manufacturing experience preferred
- Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferred
Pay
The starting pay for this position is $73,000 annually. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
