About the role
We take pride in enabling sustainable progress through technology, and as a Supply Chain/Logistics Manager, you will lead and optimize all inbound and outbound logistics operations for our Pendergrass, Georgia or our Fort Worth manufacturing plant. You will play a critical role in ensuring materials and finished goods move safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while supporting production, quality, and customer commitments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve inbound and outbound transportation strategies, including carrier and 3PL management.
- Ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and on-time shipment of finished goods to our customers.
- Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material movement, and shipping.
- Optimize freight cost, routing, packaging, and logistics processes.
- Partner closely with production, materials, procurement, and planning teams to support plant performance.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, service, cost, and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, coach, and engage logistics and warehouse teams in alignment with Siemens values.
Qualifications
We typically look for a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8 or more years of progressive management experience in logistics or distribution experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting large-scale operations, ideally in facilities with 1,000+ employees.
- Strong leadership, communication, and continuous improvement skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $109,670 - $188,006, with a 15% bonus potential.
