Supply Chain Internship - Summer 2027

About the role
As a Global Supply Chain intern at SC Johnson, you’ll be involved in strategic projects that make an impact to the organization in areas such as Customer Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Strategy, Manufacturing Operations, and Transportation/Logistics. You’ll be part of a team in Racine, Wisconsin (our Global Headquarters) or Chicago, Illinois (our North America Supply Chain Headquarters) and will gain skills which will help prepare you for a full-time career in Supply Chain.
Skills
Your Supply Chain internship project could focus on providing enriching experiences to help develop key skills in one of these areas:
- Customer Supply Chain
- Analyze current processes to improve supply chain efficiencies and provide cost savings.
- Improve business processes that support the planning and fulfillment of customer demand (Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR)).
- Supply Planning
- Analyze production alternatives and inventory management plans to define optimal production plans that drive balance across inventory investment and customer service goals.
- Collaborate with in-house manufacturing and contract manufacturing teams to develop optimal run strategies.
- Develop constrained/feasible MPS/DRP plans over aligned time horizon via SAP and best practices.
- Transportation/Logistics
- Model scenarios to determine supply chain impact.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure transportation service needs are met.
- Analyze warehousing operations to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Leverage project management skills to implement cost savings or capital expenditure projects.

Requirements
- Must be enrolled and seeking a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related degree with a graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
- Available to complete internship from May 17, 2027 through August 6, 2027.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Goal-oriented, results-driven, and intellectually curious.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Excellent oral, written, and communication/presentation aptitude.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently on assignments, complete hands-on learning, prioritize work, and handle a variety of tasks or requests at once.
- Time management and organizational skills.
Schedule
- Full time Monday–Friday.
- 12-week summer internship.
- This position is not eligible for remote work.
