Supply Chain Intern

About the role

This internship allows the intern to receive experience in areas of Supply Chain including Facilities, Logistics, Planning, Sourcing, Transportation, and Distribution. The internship is located at various sites, primarily in Green Bay, WI, and Southwest Missouri for distribution opportunities. It is a paid position lasting one year.

Responsibilities

• Facilities: Support daily facility operations by collaborating across teams, coordinating facility projects and developing strong communication, problem‑solving and time management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Logistics: Manage supplier inbound and outbound order flow, coordinate shipment consolidations, resolve inventory and order exceptions, and collaborate with suppliers, transportation providers and distribution teams to ensure efficient, on‑time product delivery.
• Planning: Support inventory management and product movement, balance inventory and product availability across the distribution network, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance.
• Sourcing: Manage supplier compliance documentation, support supplier onboarding and sourcing systems, and maintain procurement operations through transaction processing, record management and administrative support.
• Transportation: Coordinate domestic and export transportation operations by managing shipments, analyzing carrier performance and costs, maintaining transportation documentation and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and service.
• Distribution: Gain hands‑on experience in leading warehouse shift operations. Track daily productivity metrics and help solve workflow challenges alongside senior shift managers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Must have at least 2 semesters remaining in school upon start date (May 2027 graduates or later).
• Ability to work 20‑25 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer.
• Must have a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download speed) at home for remote and hybrid positions.
• For positions that require travel: valid driver's license, auto insurance (at least state minimum), acceptable driving record per Schreiber Foods discretion, and a vehicle that meets travel necessities.
• Authorization to work in the country where the role is based; Schreiber may sponsor work authorization where permissible.

Pay

$18.75 per hour.

Schedule

20‑25 hours/week during the school year; 40 hours/week during the summer.
