Join our team as a day-shift, full-time, Materials Management, Supply Chain Coordinator in Henderson, TX.

UT Health Henderson features 41 operational beds, a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke-ready facility with surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, wound healing center, and an AASM-accredited sleep center.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Director in maintaining the operations of the warehouse, storeroom, and facility supply chain department by acting as the coordinator/primary point of contact during their assigned shift.
• Provide oversight of daily operations and activities while performing individual warehouse and storeroom responsibilities.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience, of which one (1) year must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
• Experience leading a team.
• Experience with the use of heavy equipment, such as a forklift, pallet jack, dock equipment, etc.
• Ability to drive department-owned vehicles, including but not limited to a box truck.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to act independently.
• Demonstrates initiative, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to review information and take action.
