Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

We are looking to hire a key member of our Operations team at our Panama City, Florida location. The Supply Chain Coordinator I manages the strategic raw material inventories, modal selection, and distribution across the network. This role works closely with plant supply chain and logistics procurement to improve strategic raw material and material logistics services while controlling logistics operating costs. Ensures regulatory guidelines are met with respect to shipping of materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics tactical management and communication.
• Provide supporting services to strategic raw material suppliers, procurement, plant supply chain, customer service, sales, operational planning, and regional manufacturing.
• Ensure logistic regulatory compliance is met by mode.
• Provide logistics department cross-functional expertise and coverage.
• Support continuous improvement processes, KPIs, and other projects to optimize performance and costs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Logistics, Supply Chain, Planning, or Operations-related work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Operational experience by mode.
• Knowledge of logistics compliance and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Planning, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
