Supply Chain Coordinator

Temporary role with a 6-month contract duration and possibility of extension.

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator performs slot management activities supporting Vertex’s Supply Chain. The role involves well-defined support tasks performed independently as well as projects of increased complexity completed under limited supervision. The Coordinator may work closely with other key stakeholders including Finance, Regulatory, Commercial, Logistics, QA, MSAT, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Attend cross-functional meetings and utilize dashboards to drive tasks to completion.
• Proactively communicate process updates to stakeholders.
• Deliver products for patients with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
• Support senior supply chain staff with conducting transactions for capacity and patient bookings in Vertex’s slot management software system.
• Work with Supply Chain and Quality staff to collect, maintain, and communicate product status information.
• Confirm completion and tracking of supply chain supply-related documentation.
• Perform administrative functions for the larger project team and department, including creating PowerPoint slides for presentations and maintaining dashboards for project status and metrics.
• Support the maintenance of the Supply Chain Map program.
• Troubleshoot routine problems.
• Take meeting minutes and update documentation.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Typically, 2 years of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to multitask and, with guidance, prioritize assigned work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage own workload and contribute effectively to a team setting.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timelines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to exchange relevant information.

Pay

$32/hr - $34/hr
