Supply Chain Associate - Manufacturing - Chelmsford, MA

Description

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and proactively address any scheduling or delivery issues.
Track, maintain, and update material status information within internal systems to support operational accuracy and visibility.
Create, issue, and manage purchase orders while ensuring compliance with established company processes.
Serve as a key point of contact for suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, and order-related concerns.
Partner with planning, operations, and other internal teams to maintain material availability and support business priorities.
Monitor supply activity, identify potential shortages or disruptions, and escalate risks appropriately.
Support daily supply chain activities and respond to urgent operational needs in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain organized records and documentation related to purchase orders, supplier communications, and material updates.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance supply chain efficiency and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-2 years of professional experience, ideally within supply chain, operations, procurement, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams and suppliers.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to ERP or MRP systems is highly desirable.
• A self-motivated individual who demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and follow-through.
• A strong desire to learn and develop a long-term career within supply chain and operations.
