Principal Responsibilities
- Support daily warehouse activities including receipt, storage, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Aid in loading and offloading of supplies and ensure safe handling of items.
- Store goods in assigned locations according to warehouse layout and storage standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the warehouse premises.
- Support preparation of dispatches based on approved requests.
Stock Handling & Organization
- Assist in arranging items on shelves, pallets, or storage areas.
- Support labeling and identification of stored items.
- Help separate and organize items by batch number, expiry date, and program use.
- Report damaged, missing, or expired items immediately to the Warehouse Officer.
Documentation & Record
- Aid in preparing and updating basic warehouse documents such as GRNs, stock cards, and dispatch notes.
- Support filing of warehouse documents in an organized manner.
- Absorb physical stock counts and spot checks as required.
- Help prepare stock movement forms and delivery paperwork.
Cohesion with Logistics & Programs
- Support warehouse preparation for deliveries and dispatches with logistics teams.
- Aid in moving items between storage areas and loading zones.
- Affirm deliveries and collect signed waybills when required.
- Inform the Warehouse Officer of any delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow Project HOPE warehouse procedures and handling standards at all times.
- Adhere to safety measures including use of protective equipment when required.
- Ensure no unauthorized access to stored items.
- Promote proper handling of medical and sensitive supplies.
