Supply Chain and Logistics Trainee - Warehouse

As a Logistics Trainee, you will join a winning team that inspires growth. You will have opportunities to improve service promises to customers, learn processes, policies, and procedures, and focus on shared objectives.

Responsibilities

• Proactively improve service promises to customers
• Learn and apply skills in selection, loading/unloading of trailers, cross-docking, and customer service operations
• Plan work assignments to ensure effective use of warehouse equipment
• Lead a small group of hourly associates in a distribution center management operation
• Motivate, engage, train, and assess associates
• Foster a safe work environment
• Understand and meet customer goals and objectives
• Resolve issues and monitor operations for compliance
• Implement Lean processes and analyze inventory management
• Leverage Kaizen methodology

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science/Analytics or related field (plus)
• Demonstrated leadership through school, community, clubs/organizations, or military
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Preferred internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn and navigate various technology platforms
• High level of commitment to operation and job responsibilities
• Results-oriented, attention to detail, and effective time management and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Willing to relocate based on business needs or upon completion of the program
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and work at the specific location required
