Supply Chain Analyst
About the role
The Supply Chain Analyst supports the administration and execution of national account programs, rebate tracking, and purchasing analysis to support financial performance and operational consistency across projects. This role partners closely with the Strategic Sourcing Managers, Construction Services, and Preconstruction teams to support program alignment and utilization throughout preconstruction and active construction phases.
This position contributes to the continued development of Roers Companies’ supply chain function within a construction general contracting environment by supporting purchasing operations, analyzing data and trends, and identifying opportunities to improve visibility, efficiency, and cost optimization across projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple internal departments to achieve project and business metrics.
- Complete project closeout documentation for rebate programs which include but is not limited to, combining submittal information for collective project rebates.
- Support the implementation and management of national account programs across active and upcoming projects.
- Track and analyze rebate programs to forecast financial returns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of purchasing activities, contracts, and rebate submissions.
- Monitor account performance to ensure compliance with negotiated terms and maximize value for Roers Companies projects.
- Provide reporting, practical analysis, and actionable insights to project teams and leadership to inform decision-making and financial planning.
- Proactively recommend improvements to purchasing processes, tools, and systems to identify opportunities to enhance purchasing processes and improve project efficiency.
- Stay informed on material pricing trends and supplier developments within the construction market to support competitive purchasing strategies.
- Assist in developing and refining purchasing tools, templates, and systems to improve consistency and transparency across projects.
- Uphold Roers Companies’ standards of quality, integrity, and collaboration in all purchasing-related activities.
- Perform other necessary functions as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in procurement, financial analysis/reporting, cost estimating, or pre-construction within construction or other project-based industries.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing operational and financial data across multiple systems and building dashboards to support reporting and decision-making.
- Preference given to candidates with single-family or multi-family homebuilding experience; other construction or project-driven industry experience is also valued.
Skills
- Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and analytical tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI); PMIS systems experience (e.g., Procore) highly preferred.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills.
- Knowledge of building materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment, including industry standards for selection, procurement, and installation, a plus.
- Have strong client, project management, and time management skills.
