Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain supply chain models to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize procurement strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency, cost savings, and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and operations to drive supply chain excellence.
- Assess supplier performance and negotiate contracts to enhance supply chain resilience.
- Utilize data visualization tools and software to present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives related to warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards related to supply chain operations.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain analysis, inventory management, or logistics roles.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, procurement best practices, and logistics operations.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Costpoint.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
- Military logistics or inventory management background is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to find innovative solutions.
