About the Role
The Dock Coordinator plays a key role in supporting warehouse and shipping operations by ensuring package scan compliance, accurate inventory movement, and efficient trailer coordination. This position helps maintain smooth dock operations, supports on-time departures, and contributes to a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate trailer placement and ensure all required trailers are positioned at dock doors for daily operations
- Monitor scan compliance and verify all outgoing packages are properly accounted for
- Support warehouse flow by assisting with picking, staging, and material handling activities
- Audit pallets to confirm accurate package counts and proper sorting procedures
- Maintain organization across dock areas and ensure pallets are staged in designated locations
- Help prioritize trailer loading to support on-time shuttle departures
- Partner with warehouse team members to maintain operational efficiency and workplace safety
- Follow company procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives within the operation
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role works primarily in a warehouse and cooler environment with temperatures around 34 degrees. Team members regularly use equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, pallet wrapping equipment, and box cutters. This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and lift or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Operate warehouse equipment and use handheld or wearable scanning devices throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Previous fulfillment, warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and meet operational deadlines
- Basic to intermediate computer application skills
- Experience with warehouse systems, RF scanning technology, or ERP systems preferred
- Experience with Apprise ERP and Tableau software is a plus
- Ability to operate or be trained on warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Schedule
- Sundays: 10:00 AM – Finish
- Monday through Thursday: 2:00–3:00 PM – Finish
- Additional hours, schedule adjustments, or modified start times may be required during holidays or periods of increased workload
This is an onsite position.
