Supplier Quality Representative - DSQR (Aerospace)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Reviews and creates First Article Inspection Reports that are in compliance with customer & AS9102 requirements.
• Uses various precision equipment as prescribed in Inspection Levels I and II, performs all forms of mechanical inspection, and provides technical assistance to subordinate inspectors, QEs, and MEs when required.
• Maintains and promotes a clean, FOD-free, and organized work area.
• Interfaces and/or be a member of the First Article Inspection Report, Action, Support Team.
• Prepares and executes AS 9102 FAI's.
• Follows through on commitments, proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement, and maintains a clean, FOD-free, and organized work area.
• Actively involved in identifying safety issues, making suggestions, and implementing safety improvements.
• Approaches others tactfully and respectfully, reacts well under pressure, effectively communicates via spoken and written means one-on-one and in group settings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/Equivalent with 1-3 years (min 6 months) previous experience as a Level II Inspector (Or equivalent Mechanical Inspection experience).
• Associates degree/Certificate in a technical discipline may be used in place of experience.
