About the role

Quality Assurance Inspector supporting the Vendor Quality Team. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on campus. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and consistently verify incoming material meets Intralox drawings and Quality standards prior to placement in inventory.
  • Support quality projects and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Document and issue Intralox Nonconformance Reports; quarantine nonconforming product.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance sampling plans are followed.
  • Make decisions based on inspection data and Quality Standards.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the appropriate Quality databases.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the QC Lab.
  • Assist with training of QA backups.
  • Communicate quality data through documentation, email, and personal interfaces.

Requirements

  • High school graduate (or G.E.D. equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working within a Quality Control division of a manufacturing company.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings.
  • Demonstrated success working independently.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for learning and growth with a demonstrated record of self-management.
  • Strong attention to detail with Quality-minded experience.
  • Excellent decision-making, organization, and communication skills.
  • Above proficient in standard software packages (MS Office, Excel, Teams, etc.).
  • 1+ years of experience in an engineering, supply chain, or quality-related field.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with suppliers.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Root Cause Corrective Action experience.
  • Statistical Process Control experience.
  • Keyence, CMM, hand gaging, or other measurement system experience.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.
