Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate supply chain disruption response activities to minimize operational impacts and maintain continuity of supply.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, engineering, and operations to address supplier and material shortages.
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify high-risk situations before they impact production or service levels.
  • Conduct root cause investigations to identify drivers of supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers during critical supply events.
  • Create and maintain escalation plans, recovery actions, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Apply continuous improvement and lean principles to strengthen supply chain performance and reduce recurring issues.
  • Create and present status reports, action plans, and executive summaries to support decision-making.
  • Support supplier performance improvement initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to drive long-term solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of team processes, best practices, and crisis response methodologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, supplier development, supplier quality, procurement, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience managing supply chain disruptions, supplier performance issues, or material shortages in a production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed, including short-notice travel when business conditions require.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
