About the role
The Supplier Enablement Specialist will work on major supplier line(s) where process and order requirements are heavy. This role involves building and maintaining workflows and determining efficiencies in the quote, order, and pricing process.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales and Supplier(s) to prepare requirement documentation and process.
- Outline and manage order and pricing requirements.
- Work closely with Supplier to manage quotes to business partners and end customers.
- Act as a focal point for enablement for the assigned supplier line(s) within ScanSource.
- Work closely with ScanSource Pricing and Technical Teams to ensure that quotes are appropriately created.
- Work with Sales teams to ensure all Supplier required information is collected in order to process orders seamlessly and accurately.
- Compile reports and summary of activities to present to SBM(s) and key contacts at Supplier(s).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in computer usage, the Internet, and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work within a cooperative team environment, as well as perform assignments independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior sales or account management experience.
- SAP and Salesforce.com experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
- Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
Pay
Base salary range: $52,000, with total compensation up to $57,000. Actual annual salary offered will be based on work experience, education, and skills/achievements.
