SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- GIRLS SOCCER (ASSISTANT COACH)

POSITION GOAL

The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are responsible for overseeing and instructing students in various sports activities.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement training programs for student athletes.
• Provide guidance and instruction on the rules and techniques of the sport.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure the success of the team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach it.
• Assistant Coach: Standard high school diploma or GED, knowledge of the activity, computer skills as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience coaching at the high school level.
• Previous administrative experience in athletics.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Temporary/Subs work calendar.
• Nonexempt classification.

CERTIFICATIONS

Head Coach must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate.
