SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- FOOTBALL (HEAD COACH)

POSITION GOAL

The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are responsible for overseeing athletic activities at NORTHEAST HIGH in OAKLAND PARK.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement training programs for athletes.
• Manage team practices and games according to league rules and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to athletes to improve their performance and sportsmanship.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach it.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience coaching at the high school level.
• Previous administrative experience in athletics.
• Leadership and motivational skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Temporary/Subs classification.
• No relocation assistance provided.
• Compensation details available on request.

SKILLS

Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

CERTIFICATIONS

• Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education for the Head Coach.
