SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BOYS TRACK (HEAD COACH)

Location: West Broward High, Pembroke Pines

About the Role

This position is responsible for coaching high school athletic teams, ensuring athletes develop skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Both Head Coach and Assistant Coach roles are available.

Responsibilities

• Teach and refine athletes' technical and tactical skills in the sport.
• Plan, organize, and conduct practices and games.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, school staff, and officials.
• Adhere to all school, district, and state athletic policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• For Head Coach: Valid Florida Educator Certificate or willingness to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to effectively teach and coach athletes.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Pay
