Supplemental Nursing Instructor

Responsibilities

• Embedded in courses with historically low success rates that are central to the completion of the nursing programs.
• Intervene when students require additional assistance.
• Participate in classroom dynamics.
• Set up one-on-one or small-group meetings to clarify challenging topics.
• Assist students in developing critical thinking skills as a nurse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.

Qualifications

Experience with nursing instruction/education preferred.

This is a temporary, part-time position.
