About the role
This position involves implementing reverse logistics solutions and advising agencies on disposal policies.Responsibilities
- Implements reverse logistics solutions to manage property disposal.
- Guides agencies on interpreting and utilizing disposal policies.
- Collaborates with customers to assess and meet their short and long-term requirements.
- Evaluates and recommends actions to address unique constraints and desires of various commands or customers.
- Demonstrates capabilities of newly automated disposal methods and operational processes.
Requirements
- Specialized experience in disposing of property through reutilization, transfer, donation, sales, abandonment, and destruction.
- Experience monitoring and validating customer support goals.
- Ability to analyze business-based performance measures and develop new solutions.
Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
- Experience in managing property disposal through reutilization, transfer, donation, sales, abandonment, and destruction.
- Experience in analyzing business-based performance measures and developing new solutions.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
