About the role

This position involves implementing reverse logistics solutions and advising agencies on disposal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Implements reverse logistics solutions to manage property disposal.
  • Guides agencies on interpreting and utilizing disposal policies.
  • Collaborates with customers to assess and meet their short and long-term requirements.
  • Evaluates and recommends actions to address unique constraints and desires of various commands or customers.
  • Demonstrates capabilities of newly automated disposal methods and operational processes.

Requirements

  • Specialized experience in disposing of property through reutilization, transfer, donation, sales, abandonment, and destruction.
  • Experience monitoring and validating customer support goals.
  • Ability to analyze business-based performance measures and develop new solutions.

Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
  • Experience in managing property disposal through reutilization, transfer, donation, sales, abandonment, and destruction.
  • Experience in analyzing business-based performance measures and developing new solutions.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt to unique customer needs and constraints.
