About the role
Serves as an assistant to the Park or Natural Resource Manager at one or more lake or river Projects.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the development and implementation of park management plans and policies.
- Oversees day-to-day operations of park facilities and resources.
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Manages visitor services and provides educational programs related to natural resource management.
- Prepares reports and maintains records on park activities and resource conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 level in the Federal Service, which includes experience assisting in the development and implementation of park management plans and policies, overseeing day-to-day operations of park facilities and resources, coordinating with other departments, managing visitor services, and preparing reports.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a park or natural resource management setting.
- Knowledge of federal park management policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay
The starting salary for this position is $45,000 per year.
