Duties

Oversees budget formulation and develops, executes, and manages BEA's spending and revenue plans to ensure optimal availability and utilization of funds.

Conducts fiscal controls, financial management, and oversees financial risks and internal controls.

Oversees the planning, preparation, and execution of all procurements and interagency agreements by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Oversees the Finance and Acquisition Branch, including planning, directing, and reviewing work performed by staff.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience: For the Band V (GS-15), you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the Band IV (GS-14) in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes performing or overseeing finance, procurement, or budget formulation and execution activities; delivering leadership briefings; leading a group of budget, finance, or procurement professionals; and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Education: Education cannot be substituted at this band/grade level.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
