About the role
Supervisory Engineer for Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) within the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Joint Program Office, Los Angeles AFB, CA. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
- Serve as an overarching Subject Matter Expert/Advisor (SME/A) for critical MGUE Increment 1 and Increment 2 programs.
- Provide oversight spanning the full systems engineering and development lifecycle, including establishing technical requirements and managing configuration changes.
- Direct system integration, testing, production, and sustainment.
- Lead, guide, and direct interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead investigations into field/test anomalies, validate system performance, and direct technology insertion.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- This is a designated Drug Tested Position.
- Position is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) and requires the ability to meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification requirements.
- Professional engineering background with mastery of advanced engineering principles.
Skills
- PNT/GPS Systems Engineering: Strong working knowledge of PNT/GPS Navigation for both development and sustainment systems engineering.
- Acquisition Process Knowledge: Understanding of the acquisition process, platform integration, and testing.
- Avionics and Digital Engineering: Working knowledge of Electronic Warfare, avionics engineering, and digital engineering principles.
