You will serve as a Supervisory Electronics Engineer in the Aircraft Prototype Systems Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Responsibilities
- Perform research, development, and life-cycle support for avionics and weapons systems slated for or installed on advanced naval tactical aircraft.
- Perform system engineering tasks, including defining system requirements and architectures, developing plans and schedules, and providing management and support throughout the aircraft life cycle, including advanced development and in-service engineering.
- Perform system integration, test, and analysis to transform operational needs into avionics system descriptions, integrate related technical engineering specialties, and coordinate the efforts of other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate the efforts of three or more employees, establishing long-term task priorities, determining work procedures and methods, and guiding employees and/or supervisors’ work.
- Review the work in progress in the Branch on a continuing basis, furnishing technical guidance when required, and assume both technical and administrative responsibility for the accomplishment of the work.
- Review completed work for attainment of original objectives, validity of engineering interpretations, and compliance with established local Navy policies and procedures.
Pay
Minimum Salary: $121,785
Maximum Salary: $187,093
