Supervisory Customer Experience Specialist (Sporting Goods Counter)

Major Duties

• Greets each customer upon contact and keeps their needs foremost.
• Creates a welcoming environment.
• Learns and leads associates utilizing effective communications skills.
• Trains and mentors associates to ensure they are well-equipped to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
• Arranges space on sales floor, sets up promotional fixtures, displays promotional merchandise, and signs.
• Demonstrates specialty product knowledge and skills to assist and engage by making recommendations to promote multiple sales.
• Ensures associates demonstrate behaviors to drive customer loyalty and actively communicates the benefits of the Military Star credit card to customers to drive sales growth.
• Maintains program compliance with regards to safety/security/service procedures in all aspects of recordkeeping, inventory, storage/display, and sales.
• Maintains employee communication folders to include communication record, time and attendance record, and job description.
• Communicates the performance standards and provides feedback.
• Operates a cash register or other sales related equipment to enter new accounts, sales related equipment, sales transactions, refunds, or other related transactions.
• Verifies and accepts multiple tenders for payment and makes change with accuracy and zero variance tolerance.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or the equivalent.
• Retail experience.
• Demonstrated willingness and potential for additional responsibility.

Pay

Salary range: $18.64 - $27.13 per hour.
