About the role
The incumbent directs a specialized program of marked difficulty, responsibility, and national significance, and is responsible for the overall planning, development, direction, coordination, and control of the functions for special projects.
Responsibilities
- Execute the work of the unit through supervision of its staff.
- Establish policies and priorities and provide essential access to NARA's holdings.
- Oversee the archival responsibilities of the unit.
- Collaborate and execute communication strategies, plans or policies to individuals.
- Propose and implement solutions and/or strategies for program improvement to assure the continuing effectiveness of activities in support of an Agency's mission.
