About the Company
Sunoco LP operates within three business segments:
- Fuel Distribution: Largest independent fuel distributor in the U.S., distributing over 8 billion gallons of fuel annually across more than 40 states to over 7,400 Sunoco and partner branded locations, as well as independent dealers and commercial customers.
- Pipelines Systems: Network of over 14,000 miles of pipelines distributing crude oil, refined products, renewable fuels, ammonia, and specialty liquids.
- Terminals: Over 100 fuel terminals in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico.

Responsibilities
- Research and gather information from the team to urgently identify and resolve issues and provide guidance to supervisors and leads.
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with internal counterparts to enhance process improvements aligned with company goals.
- Proactively engage in the learning and development of the team on key systems and processes to support future growth and efficiency.
- Promote a culture of learning and development, encouraging team members to master various systems.
- Resolve issues accurately and with a sense of urgency.
- Manage a high volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data by reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and leveraging technical accounting skills to analyze trends in P&L and balance sheet accounts while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements
- Strong leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Significant level of personal accountability and ownership to proactively identify and address issues with limited oversight.
- Ability to develop and maintain highly productive relationships with internal and external counterparties through proactive, effective communication.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of Excel, RightAngle, Salesforce, Power BI, and SAP preferred.
Working Conditions
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
