Supervisor - Warehouse Shipping - Shift 2

About the role

This position will report to the Manager. Travel requirements: N/A. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Shift: 2nd. Employment Category: Full-Time Regular. Pay Range: $27.00 - $30.00.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound/outbound shipping activities for quality, accuracy, and completeness of shipments.
• Ensure the warehouse department and equipment are kept clean, organized, and inspection-ready daily.
• Supervise a crew of up to 40+ employees, track attendance, discipline, and reports.
• Enforce and adhere to company policies.
• Manage product movement/rotation for maximum inventory benefit.
• Involvement in employee relations, including evaluations, skill development, growth, and advancement, and disciplinary actions.
• Communicate accurate information to management and other departments.
• Affirm compliance with company SOPs, GMPs, policies, and guidelines.
• Coordinate workflow to maximize productivity, safety, and efficiency.
• Assign orders to loaders based on experience and priority/appointment time.
• Inspect and audit inbound/outbound orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Ensure accuracy of all inbound and outbound orders.
• Conduct shift/start-up meetings and departmental meetings.
• Contribute warehouse information, resolve issues, and identify system improvements.
• Ensure equipment operates by enforcing instructions, troubleshooting, and scheduling maintenance.
• Perform other assigned duties/projects to support business needs.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or 3-5 years’ experience in inventory control or warehouse operations or combination of both education and experience.
• Forklift Certification or must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility.
• Experience working with WMS systems such as Red Prairie and JDE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with FEFO/FIFO inventory rotation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, QA, production, finance, and upper management.

• Working knowledge of relevant business systems, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and WMS/LMS/ERP platforms.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
