About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees operations at the Post Road and Moore Road warehouses, ensuring timely and safe completion of receiving, shipping, processing outbound sales orders (SO), transfer shipments, and return merchandise authorization (RMA) activities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all work safely, promoting continuous safety improvements.
  • Supervises warehouse associates, ensuring timely and accurate operations.
  • Handles requests for information and data, facilitates department training, and supervises for compliance with company policies.
  • Works with the Manager to achieve goals, implement strategies, and increase profitability.
  • Assists in setting and achieving departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Conducts interviews, performance appraisals, onboarding, and disciplinary meetings, including terminations.
  • Approves payroll and corrects Paycom errors for hourly employees.
  • Maintains employee adherence to company rules and policies, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Monitors crewing levels and optimizes them to meet or exceed Monogram cost targets, suggesting ways to control labor and supply costs and improve processes.
  • Prepares written responses to routine inquiries, works with Production Supervisors and Inventory Manager to maintain accurate inventory, and prepares meeting agendas and schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Understands general PC workings, utilizes Word and Excel, and adapts to changes.
  • High school diploma with relevant experience is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to lead others in a results-oriented manner.
  • Experienced in shipping and receiving full truckloads, LTL, and UPS shipments.
  • Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with inventory-tracking software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
