About the role

Supervise and implement the company construction program ensuring adherence to construction rules, practices, and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations
  • Complete assigned projects
  • Communicate and lead job foremen and crew members
  • Organize materials, equipment, and labor
  • Verify locates, materials, and billings
  • Provide all required job reporting
  • Complete as-builts and redlines
  • Participate actively in and take responsibility for safety, maintenance, production, and personnel-related initiatives
  • Previous utility construction crew leadership experience required
  • Experience with telecom MSA contracts preferred
  • Out-of-town travel and on-call availability required
  • Valid driver's license with good record, Class A CDL license preferred

Requirements

  • Age 18 or older
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable record
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain
  • Pass DOT physical exam for medical card
  • At least 3 years of related work experience
  • Previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications
  • Physical abilities: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces, and in remote locations; climb stairs, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds; operate vehicle & heavy machinery

Qualifications

  • Good computer skills, specifically database software and Excel
  • Prior experience with Google applications a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
