Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead crews to complete installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and safety
- Supervise day-to-day activities, progress, and compliance with deliverables
- Coordinate with manager to invoice jobs in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA, DOT, and project-specific requirements
- Investigate accidents, including job damage, employee injuries, and vehicle accidents
- Maintain professional communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers
- Identify and mitigate issues and risks, assisting in developing response plans
- Enforce company safety policies
- Staff, train, and performance-manage employees with HR support
- Manage equipment repair, maintenance, and rental with Fleet department support
- Interface with customers to discuss needs and goals
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check and company drug screening
- Valid state driver’s license (non-provisional) with an acceptable driving record
Qualifications
- Experience working in telecommunications or utility construction
- Proven leadership experience guiding employees to high-quality results and teamwork
- Any combination of education and/or experience demonstrating ability to perform job duties
Skills
- Ability to interpret instructions and resolve problems with multiple variables
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures
- Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and vendors
